Catching Up

While traveling over the past couple weeks I did not do any writing.  That was not my intent at the start.  I had wanted to write every couple days about where we were and what we were doing,  Unfortunately, a couple thing made that difficult: a crazy schedule (up early, to bed late, moving all the time), sporadic internet service and getting sick.

I am going to try over the next couple weeks to unfold some thoughts about the trip and what we experienced.

To sum it all up, it was a great trip (except for getting sick and having our anniversary plans ruined). The people we met were amazing, the places we went unbelievable and culture was completely different.

Here are some picture:

There are pilgrims in Allahadbad headed to the Ganges to collect holy water. Some have walked hundreds of kilometers.

This is a panorama shot of Old Delhi from the Jama Masjid, India’s largest mosque. When you think of India, you are mostly likely envisioning Old Delhi; venders, a crush of humanity, narrow streets and chickens hanging in store fronts.
